Hello...this is my life with fibromyalgia. It's another early morning of insomnia (2:38am). I am going to try and cut down on my sugar in take, and also start walking. It's been a rainy season and think the sun is here to stay for a while. The weather has great effect on us with fibromyalgia. Well it effects me especially when it rains one day and is sunny and warm the next day. My body does protest!
First advise is drink plenty of water at least 10+ glasses of water (8oz) a day. It helps me, if I drink less I can feel a difference. It helps get rid of those nasty toxins our bodies don't need.
Also walking if you can, start out slow if you need to. Listen to your body and learn to pace yourself. Start out only 5 mins at a time if you need to, or even 1-2 mins of light exercise. Remember to pace yourself, if you don't you may pay for it later. Pacing yourself is important especially if you just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. If you do to much your going to end up in bed paying for it... believe me I've been there too many times!! So learn to listen to your body don't over do it.
I do try to eat by the book "Eat Right for your Blood Type". So most of the recipes will be based by my blood type (B). I eat turkey instead of chicken so you can use chicken if you like. Am not perfect so there will be some sweet (as in desserts!) recipes also! Please feel free to share some of your own to!
Have a good one...Michele
